Grain Silos and Storage

Industrial Silos

These silos must be constructed on a flat slab. The standard design is for a central and gravity emptying. They are designed to store any kind of dry and easy flowing cereals (wheat, maize, barley, rye, soya beans, field peas, rice, sunflower, rape seeds…).

For some application a specific design is necessary.

Farm Silos

These silos are designed to be economic for the farmers but according to the norm NFP22-630.

The walls of the outside silos are made from Z450 galvanized steel (450 grams of zinc per square meter). The bolts are hot dip galvanized. The roofs are made from aluzinc AZ185.

There are several solutions for the aeration: perforated floors, special air flow canals, air chambers, etc.

Hopper Bottom Silos

They have a 45° conical bottom for complete emptying by gravity. The support legs and frame are galvanized (Z450 steel or hot dip galvanization).

Perforated and Aerated Floors

Ventilated conical shaped floors can be installed. It is a good solution to aerate the grain and facilitate the emptying by gravity. It can be adapted to new or old silos up to 10,66m diameter.

We can also fit perforated floors which are an efficient alternative to aerate the grain.
