Sugar milling system

Acmon Systems always meet the production needs of various food industries that use sugar in their production process. The solution we develop is easy to maintain and includes equipment suitable for grinding heat sensitive materials while integrating solutions for dust control, creating fixed or temporary mobile storage bins. The storage of powder sugar needs continuous agitation and the whole grinding plant manufactured according to ATEX standards.
During the grinding of sugar, very fine powders are produced and mixed with air can create an explosive atmosphere. The mechanical pressure and the Explosiveness Coefficient of sugar, means that all equipment and facilities must be in compliance with the ATEX directives.

The plant includes a grinding mill that can be feeded from sugar silo or bag splitter or big-bag and includes:
- A magnet separator and a valve to form a security zone (explosion barrier control) for the safe entry of material in the grinding mill
- A grinder that grinds the sugar to the desired granulometry of icing sugar
- Temporary storage tank for icing sugar with continuous agitation without the risk of agglomerates
- Dedusting, explosion proof filter, with fan (ATEX) equipped with explosion-proof membrane and exhaust duct that can "drive" outside any explosion that might be created.
- A screw conveyor controlled by inverter undertake the discharge of the icing sugar from the storage tank
- An outlet valve isolates the explosion and regulate the icing sugar for feeding the pneumatic conveying and weighing systems to the consumption points
System Capacity:
The system capacity varies depenting on the specifications of each customer. The capacity could be up to 3.500Kg/h with 40μm particle size.
